If you just moved here and are new to Burke Mountain, we know you are looking for good places for take-out and delivery. One of our favorite places to order delivery is New Chow’s Kitchen for great Chinese food.
It was recommended by friends of ours as we couldn’t find any great Chinese food for delivery. We decided try it and to our surprise they delivered a fast, hot, tasty, meal to our front door. New Chow’s Kitchen is located at 2579 Lougheed Hwy, Port Coquitlam. You can pick up your take-out order or phone (604) 552-7773 to order for delivery. One of the things that is unique about New Chows Kitchen is that they do very limited in-house dining. It’s take-out or delivery ONLY which therefore makes them better than their competition in this department.
Another amazing feature is that all the food is always hot. I am not talking about warm or semi-hot; I am talking about piping hot! With the use of great take out containers (Which we have only seen these guys use) special delivery bags (like the ones for pizza) and the speed of their delivery system, the food always gets to your home hot, hot, hot!
They have an amazingly large menu with 13 appetizers, 11 soups, 27 chicken dishes. 16 beef dishes, 7 pork dished, 19 seafood dishes, 15 vegetable/ tofu dishes, 21 chow Mein dishes (crispy and soft noodle). 10 rice dishes, 12 fried rice dishes, along with congee, steam rice and side orders.
We have tried at least half of their menu thus far and everything has been outstanding. Some of our favorites are the Spicy Ginger Beef, the Special Chow Mein (we prefer the soft noodles). The Wonton in soup, Spicy Salt prawns, Sweet Thai chilli pork, Beef and broccoli, Bok Choi with garlic sauce. We normally order over $45 and we get an order of Chicken fried rice for free….that’s right, FREE!
They have what they call the “red hot coupon” for delivery ONLY, if you order over $35 you get free spring rolls. Over $45 you get free chicken friend rice, over $65 a free Chicken pad Thai noodle.
We have tried all the local Chinese food places for a good home-delivered meal and there is no place that compares to New Chow’s Kitchen. This place is THE place for good take-out or delivery.
