Last Saturday, we were invited to a client’s World Cup party at Farrington Park. This is walking distance from our house.
We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon with our client’s friend and neighbours. After some food and drinks we played a great game of Football (soccer) in the fenced-in floor Hockey rink . We played kids vs parents and we had an incredible time kicking the ball around as most of us have been bitten by the World Cup bug.
After our little football tourney on our way back home, I came across one of my favorite things about Burke Mountain: The Little Free Library!
There are 2 of these on Burke Mountain and they create the vibe for what our neighbourhood stands for: community!
